o, the chart war between Sabrina Carpenter and Travis Scott was WILD. Billboard literally had to hit pause on releasing the Top 200 album charts because it was too close to call. Like, they had to pull out the calculators and double-check everything to see who was really snatching that Number 1 spot. And guess what? The winner is Sabrina Carpenter, fam! 🎉
Her album “Short and Sweet” just became her first-ever Number 1 album with 362,000 units sold. That’s right—362,000! Travis Scott was right there with 361,000 units, so we’re talking a difference of just 1,000 units. No wonder Billboard needed that extra time to make sure the math was on point. This was crazy close, fam!
I mean, how often do you see Billboard literally delaying the charts because of a race this tight? Sure, it’s happened before, but this? THIS is some next-level drama. You had Travis dropping all those variants and digital exclusives, making it a nail-biter until the end. But in the end, Sabrina came out on top, and the chart war is officially over. đź‘‘
So, congrats to Sabrina! This was a debut to remember, and she’s officially a chart queen now. Travis gave her a run for her money, but at the end of the day, Sabrina’s the one holding that Number 1 crown.
Who saw that coming?
